Viewing & Evidence

Viewing companion

Watching is data collection. Capture evidence as you go, then turn it into argument later. There are three modes — capture while watching, analyse afterwards, synthesise in class.

Three viewing modes

Quick capture

While watching: timestamp, event, convention, one key word, star to save. Fast and one-handed.

Deep analysis

After watching: technique → effect → cause → genre significance → comparison → implication.

Class synthesis

Teacher-led: group saved evidence by text, convention, strand, claim, theory or statement.

Our selected episodes

These cards record what we have watched and where each programme is currently available. Open one for the viewing link, content notes, learning focus, questions and capture tool.
